VQ Checks Out The New Westfield Shopping Center

When I was a kid, we needed to drive at least 40 minutes to get to any decent shopping. When I say shopping, I mean "I need a new pair of black pants" shopping--not the "I just want to walk around in a store and waste time" type of shopping. I used to hate the fact that we only had three stores in town where you could get basic fashion--and I'm quite serious when I say basic.

Now that I'm a big, bad adult, I have chosen where I work and live to reflect my love of convenience. The location of my studio was no accident and I love the fact that I am in such close proximity to lots of interesting stores. Conveniently enough, the new Westfield Shopping Center opened up recently and it's within walking distance from where I sling my whip. I paid a visit there this week with a dear slave of mine.

I like to give credit where credit is due, and when someone goes above the call of duty, I want to make it known. This Monday, Shopping Slave (SS) took me out on the town for a day of shopping. He never puts limits on me, and arranges the entire day so that nothing is left to chance. We wanted to go to the new Bloomingdale's as SS expected to be able to treat me to a special occasion dress. After all, Mistress always needs to be prepared for any occasion. However, it was not to be. We walked up and down each aisle, fingered the fabric (that sounds dirty doesn't it?), and tried to visualize what the items on the hangers would look like on me. Despite there being a rather large selection, it was a variety of dresses that took me back to the late 80s. No, it was not Prom Time again. That is NOT an era we need to recycle styles from. I guess no one bothered to consult me before the new collections came out now did they? When it became apparent that our time in Bloomies was not going to have a net result, we moved on to the rest of the new mall, er I mean SHOPPING CENTER.

Before we left, I HAD to check out the Jimmy Choo Boutique within the department store. No, I didn't get a bunch of high end shoes, but I did see their latest ad campaign. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. It's not often that you get to see a favorite object portrayed in large format for the world to see. I have a black 1966 Lincoln Continental and that is the vehicle they used for their shoot. The trunk really IS that big! I think that the folks at the ad agency made a great choice of what to put in it. Methinks I need to do a shoot with MY fetish shoe collection and that car ( I wonder if they would all fit in the trunk?).

After pointing out my car and having some auto-talk, we ventured elsewhere in hopes of finding a new procurement destination. Since I spend a good part of my life in the gym, a work-out outfit seemed like the next logical choice. We hit the jackpot on this quest and I ended up with something new to burn calories in. I didn't used to think that workout clothes should be new--nevermind match. I mean, you're JUST going to the gym. Then a slave of mine, who has a body builder's physique asked me about how I trained. I never thought of it like that. He also asked me about what I wore to the gym. I had never thought of that either. The gym took on a new perspective when my time there became more than "just doing a work-out." Yes, I AM training. I am training to keep myself in the best possible physical shape I CAN be in. If I'm going to spend this much time doing something, why not be comfortable and look good while doing it? Besides, new workout clothes are always a nice treat when you've worked hard and want to show off your assets. I guess my hard work has paid off when the sales clerk asked me how long I'd been a personal trainer. My initial thoughts her comment were, "Well I'm a personal trainer, but not the kind you're thinking of!"

SS wasn't satisfied with JUST a workout outfit so we pressed onward. As luck would have it, there was ONE other item waiting for me--very close to the front door of a particular store. We walked through the entrance and what should we spy but a full length faux fur coat the likes of which I have never seen! Straight from Spain, it brought my slave to his knees. Warm, incredibly stylish and very sexy, I've been told it makes me look even more regal. Measurements were taken for another surprise. Shopping Slave never disappoints so I can't wait to see what that turns out to be. He promised another shopping trip after Christmas and I know he will deliver.

Cut & Print!

What did YOU do this weekend? I hate to toot my own horn, but some how I doubt many folks will be able to compete with the antics that went on in my dungeon on Sunday evening. The folks from Sin Cities gave me a call on Saturday and inquired as to whether or not I wanted to participate in a show they were taping while they were in the area. They were looking for someone who specialized in extreme BDSM and asked about me doing a cutting on camera. I was more than happy to comply, but I needed a willing victim before I could agree! Luckily my post on the Maxfisch.com site was seen by one of my loyal followers. Good ole mucous gave me a ring and said he was game for whatever was in store.

The shoot went well, or as well as something can go with all of those folks in the room at once. I am a veteran of my own video productions so it was business as usual for me. mucous was really put through the wringer and I commend him for being such a good sport. A lesser soul would have crumpled under the pressure. His cutting was one of my best yet!

The show should air some time in the Spring of 2007 so I'll be sure to write about that event as well. Sin Cities is only aired in the UK, so that is good news for my fans in Europe. I'll have to make do with the copy they'll send me.

In the meantime, if you want to see me on SF Bay Area television, check out Reality Check TV on your local cable access channel. I appear on every show as their "warning girl." Who better than a dominatrix to tell viewers that the content they are about to see is NOT appropriate for children?

Happy viewing!
